Description

My contribution to the world of selfies out there. However, I took the extra step of making the smartphone image into a woodblock relief print. Way more fun and somewhat of a privilege to have the resources to do it.

The matrix is half-inch birch plywood cut with my gouges, etc. Inked up with Gamblin black on handmade Japanese washi paper. The paper is rather precious since it came down from my father’s collection. It’s the real deal!
