Have iPad tablet sketchbook, will travel..!

Posted on March 7, 2019March 7, 2021

Here I sit while travelling and away from the comforts of my Yukon studio since December 27th, 2018 spending the new year in Ontario, Portugal and Spain. At the moment, we find ourselves in gorgeous San Jose, California visiting family. Away from my “comfort zone” I’m not always super enthused with that situation. I can get peevish about feeling isolated from my creative cocoon. Luckily, as a student of Stoicism, I can better navigate and understand the dynamics of my existence on many new and helpful levels. Thankfully, some very, very clever people invented the iPad tablet, right here in Silicon Valley which allows nomadic creative types like me to make sketches, develop ideas, do research, read books, etc. Imagine having all of that at your fingertips in a thin leatherbound volume. In this photo with Silicon Valley as a backdrop, my stylus on iPad is working out a new wood engraving design.
